Job Description:
A company is looking for a Patient Flow Coordinator to optimize
patient flow and support inpatient placement activities.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain daily systems to maximize patient flow and bed
capacity
Manage bed planning within EPIC and communicate with various
healthcare providers regarding patient admissions
Collaborate with nursing and ancillary departments to ensure
accurate patient transfer and placement
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
Two years of customer service or healthcare experience
Knowledge of medical terminology
Previous experience in a hospital admission or patient flow setting
(preferred)
Computer experience in Epic and Microsoft Word and Excel
(preferred)
