Managed Services, will leverage expert knowledge of Managed
Solution's managed services offerings to present technical service
information and business insights to clients and prospects
throughout the sales cycle. They will seek to align client
requirements with appropriate solutions and to facilitate a
successful sales cycle, acting as a Subject Matter Expert-level
authority regarding Managed Solution's Managed Services offerings,
consulting with customers and liaising with Managed Solution's
technical staff to showcase our value proposition and ensuring
alignment regarding the client's needs/technical environment and
our scope of services. This individual will be an enthusiastic
learner, an effective communicator, and a strong collaborator. This

drives business outcomes.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Acts as a technical expert and consultant during the sales
process, coordinating with sales team members and clients/prospects
to outline the existing technical environment, IT service delivery
needs, business goals, and technical challenges, and identify
alignment with Managed Solution's managed services portfolio.
- Consistently meets performance objectives for driving managed
services pipeline increase, increasing close-win rates, and driving
revenue in accordance with company targets.
- Act as a technical lead in managed services presales
engagements, conducting client consultations, network discovery,
workshops, and tailored presentations, emphasizing the alignment of
Managed Solution's managed services offerings and the customer's
needs and business objectives. Speaks effectively towards
anticipated ROI and other business outcomes related to service
engagement.
- Analyzes customer data, leveraging business intelligence tools
whenever possible, to draw conclusions and make effective
recommendations.
- Clearly articulates the value of managed services in addressing
client needs and enhancing their IT operations, as well as driving
business outcomes.
- Works with the sales and operations team to ensure managed
services proposals and contracts align with customer needs and
service delivery team capabilities. Works cross-departmentally to
identify and resolve gaps in alignment between customer needs and
Managed Solution service delivery standards when possible, ensuring
that solutions presented align with Managed Solution's EBITDA goal,
compliance standards, etc.
- Delivers compelling system/tool demonstrations and
presentations to client stakeholders, including C-level executives,
IT professionals, and board members.
- Acts as a trusted advisor and confidently addresses technical
questions and objections, building trust with stakeholders.
- Provide technical training and knowledge transfer to sales and
delivery teams as needed, as well as delivering dynamic
presentations to clients and prospects as needed (e.g., in webinars
and other training formats).
- Stays current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and
best practices relevant to managed services as well as maintaining
strong understanding of economic/business topics and regulatory
landscapes to speak effectively with stakeholders regarding
challenges and solutions.
- Leverages in-depth technical knowledge to provide comprehensive
demonstrations of tools and software to clients including;
Microsoft 365, Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework for Azure,
Microsoft Windows Server, Connectwise (RMM/PSA/SIEM/ScreenConnect),
LogicMonitor, Drata, Vulscan, and others.
- Obtains/maintains technical certifications related to offered
products/tools, including those required to facilitate Managed
Service Tools demos and workshops. Presents technical information
in a clear and engaging manner to a diverse audience.
- Quickly develops strong proficiency regarding new technical
solutions to be offered, to provide support to clients and sales
team members throughout the sales cycle.
- Builds strong rapport and trusted relationships with internal
and external stakeholders in a remote and hybrid environment.
- Works as a team player, contributing to the success of Managed
Solution and inspiring collaboration and enthusiasm. Champions
Managed Solution's mission and service offerings, representing the
brand with professionalism and integrity.Requirements:A successful
candidate will have a well-rounded knowledge of technical
principles, including:
- High proficiency related to administration across the Microsoft
stack (including Azure, Microsoft 365, Microsoft 365 Collaboration
Tools (Teams/SharePoint/PowerApps/Fabric), Active Directory,
Exchange Online, etc.) is required.
- Expert- or Architecture-level Microsoft certifications are
highly desired. Additional technical certifications are highly
desired for applicants and may become required for ongoing
employment.
- Strong knowledge of other virtualization technologies,
including VMware, Hyper-V, and VDI environments.
- Advanced knowledge of Endpoint Security tools (EDR/XDR), such
as Sentinel One & Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.
- Advanced proficiency in On-Premise Server environments (Active
Directory/Certificate Authority/GPO's/Patching/Linux/SQL).
- Proficiency in using tools such as PowerBI to access/analyze
data, generate insights, and formulate recommendations.
- Experience managing and designing enterprise storage and
backups solutions.
- Strong knowledge of network configuration and troubleshooting
in a LAN/WAN environment.
- Demonstrated success using ticket systems to document client
issues and communication as well as to pull reports.The ideal
candidate will possess advanced proficiency in the use and
administration of the following tools:
- Ticketing systems, including administration experience
(Connectwise Manage).
- Must have working knowledge of Connectwise RMM
(Continuum/Command).
- Password management systems (Passportal, LastPass, IT Boost
preferred).
- Endpoint security (Webroot, SentinelOne preferred).
- Backup and Disaster Recovery experience (VEEAM/Azure
Backup).
- Email Recovery tools (Barracuda, Exchange Online DLP Protection
preferred).
- Network/Application/Storage monitoring tools (LogicMonitor
experience required).
- Cloud-based audit logs/event trackers (Perch/ConnectWise SIEM
preferred).
- Network Detective, Compliance Manager, and vulnerability
scanning tools (RapidFire Tools VulScan preferred).
- Microsoft/Office365 Customer Management Portal (Microsoft
Partner Center required).Work Experience:
- 10+ years experience within the IT industry, including 3+ years
of demonstrated success in a consultative sales or presales
capacity, ideally within a Managed Service Provider or VAR.
Equivalent combinations of experience/education will be
considered.
- 4+ years' prior experience in an outsourced IT services
provider required, including experience leveraging and
administering ticketing/reporting/documentation tools. Equivalent
combinations of experience/education will be considered.
- Demonstrated dedication to outstanding customer service and a
drive to deliver exceptional service to both internal and external
team members. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively at
different levels regarding complex technical problems, resolution
efforts, remediation strategies, and technical road-mapping.
- Strong organizational and technical problem-solving skills.
Experience prioritizing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced
environment.
- Excellent oral and written English communication skills,
including strong presentation and relationship-building
skills.
- Integrity and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Demonstrated strong levels of integrity and the ability to
maintain confidentiality, as well as the ability to work in highly
regulated environments (HIPAA, SOC, etc.), including high levels of
understanding of cybersecurity and common regulatory frameworks
(PCI, NIST, CMMC, etc.).
- Demonstrated proficient with typical productivity and business
applications (Microsoft Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel,
SharePoint, PowerBi, PowerApps etc.) and can quickly learn our CRM
(HubSpot) and internal processes.Shift + Availability: Monday
through Friday, hours to be agreed upon based on Company needs.
Company operates in Pacific Time Zone, though some scheduling
flexibility may be offered for employees in other regions.Work
Location/Remote Status: This position is eligible for remote work,
within a state where Managed Solution has payroll operations.
