SUMMARY
Under supervision by the Dispatch Manager the Dispatcher ensures
that The Company is always represented in a professional and
courteous manner. Customer and Service are always capitalized and
we have a commitment to success to not only our Customers but also
our partners and our peers. A Dispatcher is responsible for
handling all of the scheduling, planning and coordinating of
Service calls they receive from Customers. They are accountable for
dispatching the appropriate Field Service Technicians to the
various Customer sites to complete a work order. The Dispatcher is
responsible for staying in constant communication with the FOM
(Field Operations Manger) to follow up on Service calls, this is to
ensure that the work order is complete and the Customer is
satisfied.
REQUIRMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
?Must be able to utilize headset and computer terminal to navigate
through multiple systems to input and retrieve information.
?Receive incoming work orders from Customer Service Representative
and dispatch the Field Service Technician to Customer sites.
?Stay in constant communication with the Field Service Technicians
and FOM's in order to troubleshoot any issues that may arise in the
field.
?Utilize in house mapping system for routing of Technicians and
Route Salesmen.
?Position requires ability to work in a very structured environment
with a diverse workforce.
?Must be able to maintain complete knowledge of all Service tasks
and programs and adapt to dynamic, constantly changing
telecommunications environment.
?Accountable for Service calls, attendance, and adherence to work
schedule.
?From time to time, special projects may require a departure from
or addition to regular duties.
?Other essential duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
COMPETENCIES
To perform this job successfully, the Customer Service
Representative must be comfortable working with CSS; our in house
Customer Service department system. The requirements listed below
are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability
required.
?Excellent oral and written communication skills.
?Knowledge of Microsoft Based Systems to include but not limed to:
Word, Excel, and Outlook.
?Experience with 10 key.
?Demonstrated ability to make quick and accurate decision.
?Strong interpersonal skills in order to effectively communicate
with Customers, vendors, employees, and Upper Management.
?Ability to manage multiple tasks with changing priorities while
meeting heavy deadlines.
?The capacity to work under pressure and the adaptability to work
in an ever-changing environment.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
?High school diploma or its equivalent.
?Two years of prior dispatch experience preferably working in a
call center environment.
?Capability to type 35 WPM, and the ability to type for up to 90%
of a workday.
?Flexible for any shift including weekends and all major
holidays.
?Background in Beverage or Manufacturing industry is a plus.
