Job Description:
A company is looking for a Coder - Professional (ENT) to provide
accurate and timely coding for medical records.
Key Responsibilities
Review medical records and assign ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 codes for
diagnoses and procedures
Abstract diagnostic and procedural codes into the network system as
per policy
Collaborate with the Coding Supervisor and physicians to resolve
documentation issues
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
3 years of experience in hospital and/or physician practice
outpatient coding
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of one coding certification (CCS-P, CPC, or COC)
Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and coding
guidelines
