Systems team is looking for a self-motivated and experienced
Systems Administrator for the Tomahawk Mission Planning Center
(TMPC) program. Responsibilities: Maintain several suites of PC
clients running Windows, Microsoft Office, TMPC software, and other
3rd party COTS/GOTS; servers running Windows Server, Microsoft SQL
Server, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and TMPC software, and
other 3rd party COTS/GOTS running in a virtualized environment; and
other network hardware, storage, and other devices in support of
the TMPC development and integration test environment. Position
will also include cybersecurity responsibilities and maintaining
the security posture of integration and development environment in
accordance with BAE Systems and DoD mandated information security
requirements. Position also may require travel to user, customer,
and co-developing contractor sites, CONUS and OCONUS, to conduct
installation, setup, configuration, and checkout testing of
operational software of hardware suites.Daily activities may
include:
- Installing and configuring enterprise computing
devices/hardware (Client PCs, servers, enterprise storage,
networks, printers)
- Installing and configuring operating systems
- Installing and configuring developmental software builds and
third-party software
- Tracking and installing periodic software security updates and
patches
- Updating and maintaining system installation procedures
- Suggesting and making changes to improve system configurations,
installation processes, system performance
- Installing and configuring enterprise storage architecture /
devices (SAN/NFS, NFS Fiber)
- Managing warranty/inventory/service activity for above
assets
- Troubleshooting problems within the enterprise computing
environment
- Traveling to several customer and co-contractor sites to
conduct system installation and integration checkout testing
- Interfacing with external users and contractors regarding

Education and Experience
- CompTIA Security+ certified within the first 6 months in the
position hire date
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related computer
field
- 6+ years of experience as information technology system
administrationRequired Skills
- Strong Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Server OS administration
and installation experience
- Experience with installing, configuring, and maintaining
Windows-based workstation client and server hardware
- Experience with virtualization architectures, software,
hypervisors; administration/installation (RHEL KVM/VMware)
- Experience with supporting classified networks
- Experience with cybersecurity/information assurance processes
and procedures
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Familiar with MS Office products: Word, PowerPoint, and
ExcelPreferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Familiarization with Risk Management Framework (RMF)
- Proficient in RHEL 8/9 administration
- Proficient in the installation and administration of Shared
Storage devices (e.g., SAN/NAS)
- Proficient in PowerShell scripting
- Familiarization with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)
- Familiarization with DoD STIG's, SCAP, and Group PoliciesPay
InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $112420 - $191070Please note:
This range is based on our market pay structures. However,
individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors
including, but not limited to: business considerations, local
market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate
qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience. Employee
