Job Description:
A company is looking for a Privacy and Data Protection Counsel
to advise on global privacy and data protection legal matters.
Key Responsibilities
Advise global teams on privacy and data protection issues related
to personal health data under various laws
Manage global projects and conduct privacy reviews, including
privacy impact assessments
Negotiate privacy and data protection terms in various global
agreements
Required Qualifications
In-depth knowledge of GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA, and other privacy laws
Minimum of eight years of experience as a privacy attorney,
including two years in-house
Experience in managing U.S. and GDPR privacy operational
requirements
Proven success in advising on healthcare industry privacy laws
Advanced legal degree and membership in good standing with a U.S.
state bar (or international equivalent)
