Job Description:

A company is looking for a Senior Technical Accountant & Financial Reporting.



Key Responsibilities

Assist with the preparation and reporting of the Company's external financial reporting on SEC Forms 10-Q, 10-K, and other related documents
Lead technical accounting analysis and manage general ledger activities, including month-end and quarter-end closing duties
Prepare documentation for external auditors and ensure compliance with internal controls and financial statement accuracy


Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited university
Minimum 3 years of experience in a top 10 public accounting firm or a publicly traded company in an SEC reporting role
Strong understanding of GAAP, SOX internal control frameworks, and financial reporting requirements
Experience with preparing and reconciling accounts related to goodwill, intangibles, and purchase price accounting
Advanced knowledge of Excel, including pivot tables and v-lookup formulas
