Job Description:
LanceSoft is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a
travel nursing job in San Bernardino, California.Job Description &
Requirements
Roles and Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive care to expectant mothers throughout labor,
delivery, and postpartum recovery.
Monitor fetal heart rates, contractions, and maternal vital signs,
ensuring a safe birthing process.
Assist physicians and midwives during vaginal deliveries and
C-sections.
Administer medications, epidurals, and IV fluids, following
prescribed protocols.
Educate patients and families on postpartum care, newborn care, and
breastfeeding techniques.
Maintain accurate charting using Cerner EMR and ensure compliance
with hospital policies.
Requirements:
Experience: Minimum 2+ years of Labor and Delivery experience
required.
Licensure: Active state-specific or compact RN license.
Certifications: ACLS, Advanced Fetal Monitoring, BLS, NIHSS, and
NRP required.
Technology: Cerner EMR experience preferred.
