  • Experience in: Ventilators, multiple monitors, and EKG interpretation
  • Traveler could be floated to every unit except OR, PACU, and ED
  • Unit Summary: 30-37 beds post op cardiac surgical care, cardiology patients, complex congenital patients, acquired heart disease patients, heart transplantation, VAD's and ECMO
  • Functions at the Standard Level of nursing practice
  • Patients can range from neonatal up to 23 years old
    • Job Requirements
    • MUST HAVE CA LICENSE IN HAND OR PENDING
    • 2+ years of CVPICU/CTICU experience leading up to assignment
    • PEDS Cardiac exp - MUST be cardiac trained
    • Heart transplant experience
    • Willing to float between units
    • BLS and PALS required
      • Schedule Information
      • 3x12 variable or straight night shifts, 36x48 available
      • Weekend Requirements: 6 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
      • Requested Time Off: 6 days total (must still get 3 shifts in a week)
      • Must be available to work 2 out of 3 holidays (contract can't end before New Years)
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Could be floated to every unit except OR, PACU and ED
        • Unit includes PICU, NICU, medical, surgical, hem/onc, medical behavioral unit
          • Additional Details
          • DON'T SUBMIT IF TRAVELER DOES NOT HAVE PEDS EXPERIENCE
          • Okay to submit if not within a dedicated Children's facility
          • Traveler must be willing to get flu shot when requested
