Director of Civil EngineeringDirect the Civil Engineering Department for the San Diego office of a comprehensive services AEC firm that has been awarded "Best Firm to Work for" and "Hot Firm" by Zweig Group Awards. The company works on a range of high scale office, retail, science, industrial, healthcare, and education projects. With over 50 years of history, the firm organically brings in projects for the civil team from their various service lines and longstanding client relationships. The Director will be a key figure in the senior leadership team, coordinating with the company headquarters in the Los Angeles area.Responsibilities

• Draft proposals and contracts for civil engineering projects.
• Analyze project revenue forecasts, monthly financial statements, and business reports.
• Oversee selected projects.
• Drive the growth and profitability of the group.
• Participate in hearings and planning meetings.
• Actively market and secure new business.
• Attend networking events and schedule regular client meetings.
• Manage the group's operations.
• Train, mentor, and supervise team members.
• Recruit and hire new team members.Benefits
• Base Salary: $155,000-185,000

• California PE License
• 10+ years of civil engineering experience in Land Development
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
• Experience as a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager
• Experience with client relationship management
