years.We seek an experienced Manufacturing Project Manager who will
act as a central operational pillar within the manufacturing team.
This role is pivotal in maintaining organizational alignment,
driving strategic communication, and ensuring manufacturing
procedures, tools, and operations adapt to the dynamic needs of the
business.WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Act as a key operational advisor to manufacturing leadership,
providing insights on manufacturing procedures and efficiency.
- Responsible for the creation and maintenance of performance
tracking forums and metrics to measure and report on manufacturing
efficiency and team productivity.
- Manage and prioritize information flow to leadership,
identifying critical issues for immediate action.
- Create compelling content and presentations for various forums,
including external customer presentations, internal staff meetings,
Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and all-hands meetings.
- Establish and maintain governance structures for the
manufacturing department, ensuring streamlined operations and
decision-making.
- Represent manufacturing in cross-functional product development
meetings (e.g., CDR, MRR, PDR) and manage follow-up actions.
- Facilitate weekly manufacturing leadership meetings, ensuring
agenda alignment and follow-up on action items.
- Develop and implement departmental communication strategies to
ensure cohesive messaging and transparency.
- Represent manufacturing interests in product development
lifecycle meetings and manage follow-up actions.REQUIRED
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years working in technical or operational roles in
aerospace, defense, automotive, or similar hardware manufacturing
industries.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong
presentation skills.
- Possess exceptional diligence to manage and follow up on
multiple high-velocity tasks simultaneously.
- Thrive in ambiguous situations by providing structure and
translating high-level visions into actionable plans with minimal
oversight.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with a tendency to initiate
solutions and effectively communicate with large groups and senior
leadership.
- Aptitude for working with internal and external stakeholders,
across a wide range of technical areas.
- Comfort working with data and complex analyses.
- Must be able to obtain and hold a U.S. top secret security
clearance.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related
technical field; advanced degree preferred.
- Strategic manufacturing and production roles (Chief of Staff,
BizOps, Strategy & Ops, etc.) or experience in management
consulting, investment banking, or similar strategic
functions.
- 5+ years of project management with experience delivering
multiple projects/year in parallel.
- Strong leadership skills and experience working with
cross-functional teams and senior leaders / executives.
- Expertise with data and analytics.
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, design for
manufacturability, and lean principles.
- Active U.S. security clearance.US Salary Range: $100,000 -
$186,000 USDThe salary range for this role is an estimate based on
a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary
only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to)
work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or
business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are
included in the majority of full time offers; and are considered
