Above all, we want people who are dedicated to the mutually rewarding experience that comes from caring for others.About the position: Oversees the Security/EMS departments assuring that associates follow the policies and procedures set forth by Freedom Village.Must have strong working knowledge and experience dealing with customer service and security issues. Must demonstrate a high level of energy and enthusiasm with the ability to motivate others. Must have basic planning, organizing, budgeting, and supervisory skills needed to run the department.Develop logs to track and schedule EMS/Security daily and ancillary duties including hourly interior and exterior walks/checks, securing unoccupied, guest, and model apartments, monitoring CCTV cameras, identifying lights that need to be replaced, notifying maintenance of camera outages, all opening procedures (gates, pool, newspapers), and all closing procedures (gates, pool, fliers).Use Silvertrac community program to track rounds. Review log daily through Silvertrac to ensure staff is rounding hourly.Responds to red-alerts and performs assessment to determine if resident needs a higher level of care. Responsible for front desk duties.Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Manages EMS department
• Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Freedom Village policies and procedures
• Maintains a positive attitude at all times, communicating freely and effectively with all campus personnel, residents, visitors, and vendors
• Stimulates a friendly and cheerful attitude and open door policy with all staff
• Participates in team building concepts and total quality management activities
• Hire, coach, counsel, discipline, and terminate departmental employees within the parameters of human resources department. Provide annual reviews for staff and ninety (90) day reviews on new staff
• Communicate all concerns pertaining to associates to Human Resources Director or Executive DirectorQualifications:
  • EMT certification, CPR certifiedSalary and benefits: up to $68,640 annual salary.
