Job Description:
A company is looking for a Weather Connect Reporter II to
provide timely and audience-focused coverage of impactful weather
events across the United States.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor various sources to identify and pitch weather-related
stories
Write multiple stories daily, ensuring accuracy and optimization
for search ranking
Collaborate with editors and reporters to cover breaking news and
plan for major weather events
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's or master's degree in journalism or a related field
Expertise in using social media platforms for news gathering
Strong command of concise writing, spelling, grammar, and AP
style
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility to work early shifts, nights, and weekends as
needed
