Reporting to the Chief Financial and Administrative Officer (CFAO), the Principal Grant Finance Administrator will have primary oversight for management of administrative and technical aspects of the contract and grant submission process and post-award fund administration for assigned Principal Investigators within RED Research Centers and other units under Research and Economic Development (RED). The incumbent will be responsible for managing proposals and awards of diverse scope, will perform high-level budget/resource analyses and prepare monthly financial reports for principal investigators utilizing campus financial systems.The Contracts and Grants Analyst will also have primary oversight for financial administration and budgetary management for the entire RED Research Centers portfolio. The incumbent will conduct monthly ledger reconciliations, process financial transactions using UCR systems, proactively resolve issues, and provide post-award support for extramural fund sources for the unit. In addition, the incumbent will provide general RED Research Centers reporting needs and manage the time tracking and reporting for the various grants RED Research Centers manages with different funding agencies.Please be advised that candidates may be required to provide work samples and/or take a skills assessment as part of the interview process. The expected pay scale for this position is up to $110,000 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position.
