A degreed is highly desired but willing to consider someone with a PHR in place of the degree if they have the right experience.


HR in a manufacturing or distribution setting is a MUST.

Location: Fontana, CA


Starting Pay Range: $40,000 - $45,000



HR is responsible for the full life cycle of the recruiting process. Recruits, interviews, checks references, coordinate offer and conduct orientation for new hires. As well as work on related Human Resources projects as needed.


Responsibilities:


? Create, prepare and update job descriptions and confirm job title/code and associated salary range information.


? Post open positions with internal and external sources


? Manage relationships with search firms and recruitment vendors.


? Responsible for setting up and maintaining college recruitment programs and internship programs.


? Coordinate internal job posting program.


? Source candidates by attending job fairs, professional organization meetings, networking and utilizing latest networking tools.


? Conduct pre-screening interviews, schedule phone and/or face-to-face interviews with hiring managers.


? Create and prepare appropriate behavioral questions and interview guides to be used during interviews by hiring managers.


? Manage full cycle recruitment process, including but not limited to: administration of applicant tracking system.


? Conduct New Hire Orientation and manage the On-boarding process for all new hires.


? Manage and maintain the I-9 Employment Eligibility process and paperwork.


? Manage Employee Referral Program.


? Conduct regular follow-up with hiring managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.


? Provide coaching to management and employees to resolve conflicts, enhance team effectiveness, and ensure support of organization changes and business plans


? Implement human resources policies and ensure compliance with legal regulations


? Assist in investigations and make recommendations as appropriate.


? Assist in the development of and delivery of internal training courses, train the trainer workshops, staff development programs, and other learning services.


? Work with Human Resources staff on special projects as needed


? Other duties as assigned



Skills and Experience


? Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related discipline.


? At least 3 years of recruiting experience in a corporate environment.


? English/Spanish bilingual is a MUST.


Must be able to read, speak and write in Spanish.


? Knowledge of current employment laws and legislation.


? Ability to apply CA State and Federal employment laws and other government compliance regulations in preventing and resolving employee issues.


? Experience in online/social media recruiting.


? Solid experience in sourcing and recruitment for manufacturing jobs.


? Work with and relate well with all levels of employees.


? Highly organized with sound planning and organizational skills.


? Deadline driven with the ability to prioritize objectives and duties and work on multiple projects simultaneously.


? Ability to align talent needs with organization objectives.


? Strong problem solving ability.


? Self starter with ability to work independently and drive change.
