industry (DoD) for over 20 years.This position is hybrid and
candidate will be required to be onsite in San Diego, as needed.
Typically, on-site work will be 2-3 days per week.This position has
the option to work a 9/80 schedule, which is a compressed work
schedule, with alternate Fridays off.Job Description:Maintain
system patches, as well as operating system, in accordance with
Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) compliance.Scan
systems and assist the team in remediating vulnerabilities using
ACAS.Administrate, monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain Window or
Linux-based workstations, enterprise IT servers, systems software
requirements, and analytical support.Provide guidance, assistance,
coordination, and follow-up on complex problems and ensure
resolution.Work with application developers and operations to
support production applicationsPerform server administration tasks,
including user/group administration, security permissions, group
policies, research event log warnings and errors, resource
monitoring and resolution, while ensuring system architecture
components work together seamlessly.Responsible for the
maintenance, configuration, and reliability of cloud hosted EC2
instances, including proactively improving AWS
infrastructure.Identify the need for and provide new patches,
upgrades, configurations, or new instances.Required
Qualifications:Currently hold an active SECRET clearanceCompTIA
Security+ Certified5+ years system administration experience
related to:Linux operating systems (i.e., RHEL, CentOS)Windows
Server Operating Systems (i.e., 2019, 2016)Virtual machines (i.e.,
VMware, VirtualBox, Hyper-V)Cloud computing infrastructure (i.e.,
Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure)Information Assurance Compliance (i.e.,
STIGs, ACAS, ENS/HBSS)Automation and Scripting (i.e., Bash, Python,
PowerShell, etc.)Experience with providing user supportDesired
Qualifications:DoD accreditation experience (i.e., A&A, RMF,
ATO)Containerization (i.e., Docker, Kubernetes,
OpenShift)Infrastructure-as-Code (i.e., Ansible, Vagrant,
Terraform, CloudFormation)Identity management administration (i.e.,
Active Directory, AWS IAM, OpenAM)Cloud infrastructure management
tools (i.e., AWS Systems Manager, Azure Monitor)*Salary Range:
